Marriage requirements

for getting married in Aruba
 
  • Birth Certificate of Bride / Groom.
  • Certificate of No Impediment of Bride / Groom
  • A Final Divorce Degree if applicable
  • Death Certificate in case of Widow / Widower
  • Passport copies of Bride and Groom
  • Passport Copies of two witnesses ( min. 18 years of age )
  • The Aruba Declaration of Marriage Form (we will send this form to you)
  • The Aruba Declaration Single Status Form (we will send this form to you)

Legal Procedures

for your civil wedding in Aruba
 
  • All documents must be emailed for review ( or send by courier at least two weeks prior to the wedding date )
  • US documents require an Apostille from the Secretary of State or State Department.
  • Canadian documents require an Authentication Stamp from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a Legalization Stamp from the Dutch Consulate in Canada.
  • Once married legally on the island in a few days your marriage certificate will be translated into English, Spanish or other including Apostille
